The day I got my big scar
On Tuesday the 1st of November 2011, Room 4 went to Mistletoe Bay. As soon as we got free time, I went swimming. I was having so much fun but then, when I jumped off the kayak and took my first step, DISASTER STRUCK!
I stepped on something. I thought “ouch.” Then I realised that I had stepped on a scallop shell. I got back on the kayak and looked at my foot and started crying.
Gordon carried me to the closest cabin and Frigyes looked at my foot. He put cleaning stuff on it and some steri strips after that I sat down to rest.
I got carried everywhere. Daddy came the next day and brought me some crutches.
On Thursday when I couldn’t go on the bike ride, I was a bit disappointed. I stayed with Dad, Jamie, Gabriella, Honor and some other parents. I went with Jamie and got a hot chocolate at Portage.
Although I hurt my foot and I couldn’t do a lot I had a great time.
